The Instructional Officer runs the Hopkins Emergency Response Teaching Unit. He is responsible for providing such classes and testing that is needed to maintain the integrity of the Unit and ensure its safe operation, and for offering educational services to the Homewood community.
 
Ting is a Maryland EMT-B and a Junior Biomedical Engineering major. He has been a member of HERO since the spring of 2007.
