The Operations Lieutenant is responsible for ensuring good medical practice and that on-scene conduct conforms to the Standard Operating Procedures. She is also responsible for coordinating with Security, Health & Wellness, and Residential Life on issues of protocol. The Operations Lieutenant is the final Unit authority on all emergency scenes.

DiDi is a Nationally Registered EMT-B and a Red Cross Emergency Response Instructor. She is a junior from Eau Claire, WI. DiDi has been a member of HERO since Spring 2006

The Personnel Lieutenant is responsible for the scheduling of Unit shifts, keeping accurate records for all Unit members, and the on-scene training of Crew Members and junior Crew Chiefs. She also conducts and oversees Crew Member evaluations, monitors Crew Chief and Crew Member progress on scene, and assesses each member’s fitness for promotion.

Shannon is a NREMT-B and a junior Biomedical Engineering major.

The Equipment Lieutenant is responsible for the care and maintenance of all Unit property. He ensures that an adequate supply of medical equipment is available for in equipment bags and designated Security vehicles so the Unit can operate safely. The Equipment Lieutenant also works with the Occupational Health Services to confirm the proper functioning of the AEDs located throughout campus.

Tanmay is a Nationally Registered EMT-B and a junior biomedical engineering major from Houston, TX. He has been a member of HERO since Spring 2006.
